So, some obviously snarky individual thought it’d be a hootenanny to scare the effigies out of millions of iPhone enthusiasts and Mac users. Why? Because what the hell else are you going to do on a Wednesday morning? Work? Sleep? Go to school? Schedules are for the weak, folks.
Anyways, someone within Apple’s email systems sent out an internal memo amidst themselves saying that the iPhone would be delayed until October and that Leopard wouldn’t be around until January of 2008. People cried. Gadget and tech sites around the world were abuzz with the news and then almost as immediately as these went up, they were all dashed by the memo sent out letting everyone know that it was indeed false. A nice little hoax perpetrated by someone within the system.
Quick, someone check and see if Bill Gates is on the BCC.
