Affordable PS3 A Possible Reality

Sony may be swallowing its pride soon. The Nintendo Wii is selling for a decent price, and is easily dominating the console war in the process. In order for the PS3 to sell itself on the streets as well as the Wii, it’ll have to start showing a lot more skin. Sony president Ryoji Chubachi, admits the company is taking some time to look itself in the mirror, and determine whether it’s willing to lower its standards to make a quick buck. This week Sony announced their stand-alone Blu-ray DVD player ’s price drop, therefore increasing production at the rumor mill. Analysts speculate the price drop of the DVD player will have a domino effect on the gaming system. The decision will most likely depend on how business goes now that Sony’s shortened its skirt by a few inches.
